Reading the Oz book seriesI now have all the books containing the Oz stories written by L. Frank Baum himself. ^^I'm nearly finished with "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz", and it's certainly interesting how it differs from the famous 1939 Judy Garland film. In the book, there's concepts such as the Kalidahs, and the China Country, and the journey to Glinda in the Quadling Country for instance, especially the story of how the Oz the "Great Wizard/Humbug" came to be in Oz.Those of you who've seen Oz the Great and Powerful may remember seeing the China Country as the destroyed China Town where Oscar Diggs and Finley meet the China Girl. In the books, the China Country is shown to be in the Quadling Country.So if Disney plans to do an adaptation of "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" as a sequel to "Oz the Great and Powerful", I wonder if they'll add certain elements of the book into it, like the Kalidahs and perhaps even a rebuilt China Town. And of course, we might see what became of Finley and China Girl during Dorothy'

She slowly looked up to the man and saw his face that had a scar appearing from his left eye. His presence shocked her, his face was unbearable, and she looked away facing the dark hallway with dark columns, there were the winged baboons guarding the doorway entrance.
