oz light of the dark Ch 6 shattered town memoriesAn hour passed throughout the journey, the carriage was warm compared to the outside world, it stated to rain through the land, the eastern road started to fade away from the fog made by the rain. Edward and tom didn’t care at the slightest; they sat up on the carriage whipping the horse as they go along. Oscar cramped near the door out of the carriage looking out of the small window getting a glimpse of the land outside, he repetitively blew in his hands trying to keep them warm, while Finley sat next to china girl on the other seat inside the carriage trying to her warm from the cold rainy breeze.

The Witches of Oz Ch. 6By the time Glinda and Oz arrived at her castle, there was already a crowd gathered ready for their welcome. Apparently word of the wizard’s arrival had already spread even to the people in the sanctuary. Soon Glinda and Oz were going to address the crowd, while the china girl and Finley entertained some of the Quadling children.

As they ascended the stairs, Oz whispered to Glinda, “This is nice, but I think you should know that I might not be a real wizard”.

A few hours had gone by since my arrival in this strange patch of space. I lay on the couch in the forward lounge, staring up at the world I'd found myself parked in orbit of. An empty doughnut box was on my lap, the last few bites of tasty pastry were dissolving in my stomach. They were good but not even the Liddell family's famous baking couldn't cheer me up right now. Things were bad, really bad. Aside from the obvious choice of having just witnessed the destruction of my home and family, I now had the honour of being the first human to travel over two hundred thousand lightyears from Earth. On Oz: Places and PeopleOZ is a magic land located somewhere beyond the seven continents of Earth, but still on Earth. It is filled with strange peoples and creatures. Ruled by the Princess Ozma, the land is divided into four sub-countries, Gillikin in the North, Munchkin in the East, Quadling in the South, and Winkie in the West. These countries are lead typically by the Witches, female spellcasters who govern and protect their lands, and are the most powerful magic users in Oz. Each country runs independently of each other mostly, but all still obey the laws of Ozma in the Emerald City, the capital, located in the center of the country.

 I had always hated my alarm clock, some mornings I thought that it was too good at it's job. My small bedroom was filled with a pulsating and high pitched tone, I wished that I had some random blunt instrument to pummel the object into oblivion with, must to my dismay the only thing within reach was the alarm clock itself... target acquired! Engage!
